What to do while you’re here…

Vaucluse has a rich heritage and a colourful collection of historical estates that include Strickland House and Vaucluse House. From Wentworth Road, take the shortcut that leads almost directly to Strickland House where you can look around the house or take a picnic and sit in the grounds.
Shark Bay at Neilson Point is a popular spot for divers, or there are some fabulous walks that circumnavigate the harbour, including the famous Rose Bay to Watsons Bay walk that passes Parsley Bay Reserve. Or, if you feel like heading out of the neighbourhood, there is an exciting selection of beaches and world-renowned waterfront dining options at nearby Watsons Bay, Rose Bay or Bondi.
