What to do while you’re here…

If you get hungry, pop into the Boat House, which has as an enticing selection of breakfast and lunch items, as well as a fabulous cocktail menu.

Shelly Beach and Cabbage Patch Bay are popular diving and snorkeling spots that attract thousands of visitors each year. Or wander to the end of the street and follow the path to Shelly Head Lookout, before jumping on the Shelly Beach to Barracks Precinct walk that leads to North Head. There you will be treated to a spectacular perspective of South Head, Watsons Bay, Sydney Harbour and the CBD.

Less than a 10-minute walk away is Manly, a popular seaside town with a fiercely independent heart.
