What to do while you’re here…
The closest beaches during your stay are Fairlight and Delwood beaches, which are favourites amongst locals, though there are many other beaches within walking distance. Shelley or Manly beaches are only a short stroll away, or you won’t be disappointed by making the effort to find Collins Flat or Store beaches, which are some of the most secluded beaches in the area.
Take the morning to amble along the iconic Manly to Spit walk, which winds along the harbour foreshore, taking in secluded harbour beaches, groves of trees, nature reserves and dramatic cliffs – and includes many spots for a quick dip along the way, as well as lookout points to marvel at the gloriousness of Sydney Harbour.
Come the afternoon, stroll along the Fairlight Walk to Manly, where the boutique shopping and café culture is strong, and there is an impressive variety of harbourside and surfside eateries, all offering spectacular views and enticing menus.
